If planet of the apes 2 is going to be made it will not be under the works of Tim Burton as he has had disagreements with 2oth century fox on how they distubuted his movie and has decided not to make another movie so owhen the dvd is released he will tell the true story behind the ending

Hope there we'll be planet it of the apes 2 if so can't wait and definitly going to get planet of the apes dvd when it is release!

Read on WENN that those waiting for a sequel will have to wait til at least 2003 according to Zanuck. Still no word if Burton (and Mark) are returning. Zanuck said they were working on the script.

Hey i just rented Planet of the Apes and at the end it tries to explain what happened with like a bunch of key scenes anyways, it said if you don't understand the keys scenes then go to planetoftheapesmovie.com
so i did and it explains the end of the movie. Just thought y'all would like to know how it happened if you already don't know.

only the dvd is out right now. the vhs version isnt supposed to come out for another couple months i think

According to primary polls of the Cinemax and Ixtapake International Media Center, there will not be a sequel until the business has run down. POTA cost over a billion dollars to run and distribute. Until the profit of the DvD and Movie falls, there will not be a POTA 2 unless the demand for it has risen abnormally. And since Tim Burton MAY not be directing the sequel, there is a great chance according to the decision of Tim Burton whether Mard Wahlberg will play the role of Leo Davidson in the sequel. Sorry for the bad news.
