I've previously signed up to be notified when "The Truth About Charlie"
(DVD) became available on Amazon.com, and I was informed that it is now available to pre-order. The DVD R1(USA and CANADA only) will be released on April 1, 2003.

Thanks Kazuko! But why did they have to pick April Fool's day?!?!? (its an unofficial American (maybe other countries have this too) tradition that one plays a joke on people on April 1st) I hope this isn't a joke!

DVD will come with an anamorphic widescreen transfer, Dolby Digital 5.1 audio, an audio commentary with Demme, deleted scenes, a making-of featurette, and trailers. The disc will also contain the original Carey Grant/Audrey Hepburn classic Charade.

Note for you dvd-less, the date also applies to VHS. But you will not be able to buy it, just rent it. Why? I explained the reasoning made by the studios a while ago - use the search function. Also the extras are usually not included on VHS versions.

I got my dvd on 31st March, I didn't realise it had the original film on it too.
Such a shame that it hasn't been released in the UK cinemas yet.
