Hi,
I recently was talking to my husbands uncle who told me he actually knew two of the guys on the real Andrea Gail ship. He is a captian of a ship in Calif who sails all over the world and USA.
He said that the rescuers did find the Andrea Gayil ship but the effort was soo terrible that the rescuers went down and drowned too.
I just thought it was interetstting to mention since it wasn't in the movie.
