| I have written to John Howard PM of Australia suggesting he gets himself a copy of POTA and watches it, in the hope that it will open his eyes about Woomera and how it feels to be locked up. There are people in there sewing their lips together because they are in so much pain. It should be an accommodation centre not a detention centre. We should not stand by and do nothing. People stood by and did nothing when the Jews were being gassed in World War 2. Who cares? I do. |

im Australian and all i can say is if i went over to one of their country's illegally well they would probably blow my head off right then and there. Plus it is their own fault for comming hear illagelly. It would cost them less getting here with a passport then the way most of them do and i hope they keep looking them up as we are the ones that have to pay more tax to keep them here. The detention centre is kinda wrong i say they should just sent them on the next ship back. And how is them sewing their lips together Australia's fault they are the ones doing it.
