Who would wear clothes from the 1970's?!! No thanks! It was set in a certain decade, I guess that's why the clothing had to relate to that time I guess 'Rollergirl' never took her rollerskates off because she was just that...Rollergirl. Her character would have looked daft clumping around in a pair of platforms.

This question is nothing to do with what your all discussing at this post it's just that i thought everyone had to registered before they can post anywhere on this board? but isiahthomas isn't registered how come? just curious!! By the way while i'm here Boogie night's is a great movie & Mark does a great job.

the person decided to post spam on the OT section which is a violation of our TOS, thus now is gone - but that post remains.

Boogie Nights is AWESOME and TOTALLY NOT BORING. But it is one of those movies that is just simply NOT for everyone.

I think alot of people don't like it because there is alot of sexual content, drug and even some violence as well.

So I can understand some people feeling uncomfortable watching it. I think the first time I watched it I saw it with my mom and it was kind of uncomforablte on some scenes, hehe.

But boring? NO WAY! BOOGIE NIGHTS ROCKS! There is hot chicks, great music and alot of fun!

Are you on medication? This was one of Mark's best movies.

don't worry about it DCG, people from different age groups will also have different opinions on this movie, I remember the 70's so it appealed to me on that level and I could see how accurate most things were, I loved this movie but I don't expect everyone to love it aswell.

Brenda, I think that that was a hi-pathetical question, it's noones' business what medication you're on! Hope you enjoy the flick this time around

Haven't seen the movie yet, and will hold judgement until I do. However, any movie with Mark Wahlberg COULDN'T be boring, I wouldn't think.

You know, I hate to admit this but you are not the only person who found it boring the first time you saw it DCG. I saw it about 4 years ago on rental when I was 13 too. I did not fast forward through any of it but I only watched the first half of it. I don't think it was my kind of movie at the time and I'm not sure why I even watched it in the first place. I saw it long before I had a crush on Mark and I don't remember much of the movie either so I am going to buy it and watch it again. Maybe we will both like it better the second time around.

I just bought "Boogie Nights" but I can't watch it until Christmas because it is suppose to be a Christmas present but when I do see it I will be sure to tell you all what I thought of it. Hopefully I'll like it.

Gosh, I feel like I'm talking to myself in here. Are all of Mark's fans taking breaks during the Holidays?
