They also used it in an episode of 'Buffy' at Buffy's prom when Angel showed up, it was cute but didn't have the same effect. Betty bursts into song, ....and wild horses...couldn't drag me awaaaayy.... lol! are those the words even! |

The song was orignally done by the Rolling Stones, in case anyone cares. I never even thought of the song until I saw it in Fear and now everytime I hear it, I just get goofy. Reminds me of MW. |

Yup! Finally, some one noticed that...That song was on Buffy! I posted that a loooonnng time ago but like Elisabet said...it didn't have that same effect. Actually, let's just say that when they used the song it was a beautiful moment between Buffy and Angel but not as "freaky" as the moment in Fear when they were...you know, on the roller-coaster.

Spike: Oh! Someone put a stake in me.
Xander: You got a lot of volunteers in here.
Spike: I just can't take all this mamby-pamby boo-hooing about the bloody Indians! You won! Alright? You came in and you killed them and you took their land. That's what conquering nations do. It's what Caesar did and he's not going around saying "I came, I conquered, I feel really bad about it." The history of the world is not people making friends - you had better weapons and you massacred them. End of story.
